A ritual to honour the life and death of my father. Two month before his passing, I had promised to bring him to visit a prehistorical cave in the Dordogne region. As I live my life in the practice of dancing with life and death, two weeks after his passing I became pregnant with my daughter.

I brought his ashes to release them into the river, entering the cave like entering a womb. The ritual connected the living and the dead, the ancestor and the unborn, the joy and grief.
